Let me be the first to say, I totally understand "Pickle-Power-Popper-Pause"
may feel silly or just really hard to say. It could be helpful (and fun) to sit with your child(ren) and come up with your own reminder to pause when emotions are escalating. It could be a saying, a look, or a gesture.
I would love you hear what you come up with!
The Inspiration
Introducing the inspiration for the series-
My kiddos and a few special stuffies

I wanted to share skills that could help my children overcome obstacles, manage big feelings and feel confident when faced with a challenge.
So, I told them I was going to write a book and asked for their help.
It has been quite an adventure so far and I am so grateful for all of their feedback and support along the way!

Popper uses his powers to jump between worlds. Popper is a respected leader and supportive friend.
Boomer is Parker's favorite teddy bear. During a Pickle-Power-Popper-Pause, Boomer transforms into a big, strong bear who can do anything when he believes in himself.
Squeak spends his days sleeping on Penelope's bed but during a
